Storage capacity of the electronic mailbox is 1 GB. The owner of the electronic mailbox may apply for the extension of the storage capacity of his/her mailbox through the given function of the mailbox that must be authorized by its owner. Request for the extension of the storage capacity of the mailbox is charged according to special rule of the Government Office, that apply some provisions of the Act on e-Government.

The owner of the mailbox is informed by notification message (notification of the capacity) that his/her mailbox has reached certain level of the capacity of the electronic mailbox. In the case of owner’s failure to act after the overreaching of the storage capacity of his/her mailbox, the Government Office is authorized to erase receipt messages and notifications to reach the storage capacity of the mailbox. The Government Office erases messages at the earliest after the period of 60 days after the delivery of the notification of the capacity. The only messages to be erased are those that were already read and at least one day has passed since their acceptance.
